Information for students
Topics for term papers will be agreed in advance during office hours. Papers submitted on a different topic to the one agreed will not be accepted. It is expected that the foundations of scientific work taught during seminars will be applied in the term paper. For more formal aspects, the Stylesheet from Romance Studies can be consulted.
Voraussetzung für ein Referenzschreiben/Gutachten ist, dass ich den*die Bewerber*in aus Lehrveranstaltungen kenne. Wer von mir ein Referenzschreiben für ein Stipendium, eine Bewerbung um einen Masterstudienplatz o.ä. möchte, muss mich mindestens drei Wochen vorher darüber informieren und mir die für die Erstellung erforderlichen Unterlagen zusenden. Dazu gehören:
- ein ausführlicher Lebenslauf (inkl. Auslandsaufenthalte, soziales Engagement)
- eine Leistungsübersicht (Haupt- und Nebenfach/Nebenfächer)
- eine Erläuterung, wofür Sie sich bewerben (z.B. kurze Darstellung der Inhalte des Masterstudiengangs, für den Sie sich bewerben, max. 1 Seite)
- ein Motivationsschreiben (z.B. was interessiert sie an dem Studiengang, für den Sie sich bewerben und warum halten Sie sich dafür geeignet?)
Ich bitte um Verständnis, dass ich nicht jeden Gutachtenwunsch erfüllen kann, wenn ich in einem kurzen Zeitraum von mehreren Studierenden um ein Gutachten gebeten werde.
